A Lexus battery is a rechargeable battery that provides electrical energy to your auto.It’s also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its chief goal will be to start the Lexus engine.
The alternator supplies electricity for the Lexus, once the engine is operating.
Commonly, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be immediately recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, as well as a complete discharge can reduce the battery’s lifespan.
